How to buy an Orvia Mail Classic license on the website, complete checkout, and activate or manage devices on Mac.
Orvia Mail Classic is distributed from our website, separate from the App Store build. You buy a one-time license through the website checkout, install Classic on Mac, and enter the license key to activate. The key is emailed to the address you provide at checkout. Classic uses the local rules engine only and does not include cloud AI features.
Choose Buy Classic or Buy license key on the website to open the checkout page. Confirm the product is Orvia Classic (one-time purchase). After a successful payment, the license key is emailed automatically—check inbox and spam folders.
The checkout asks for your email before payment. Use an address you can access long term: the license key, receipt, and later recovery depend on it. A mistyped email can prevent delivery. The purchase email is also used when linking Classic benefits to an Orvia Account.
The checkout shows payment methods for your location. International customers can pay by credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay; customers in mainland China can pay with WeChat Pay. Always trust the live checkout list. If a method is missing, it is usually unavailable in your region—use another option shown on the page.
Download the current Classic DMG from the website. The package is Apple-notarized. Open the DMG, drag Orvia Classic into Applications, then launch it. Prefer the website installer so you receive Sparkle automatic updates.
On first launch, Classic walks through onboarding. After you choose a language, enter the license key from your email. If you skip this step, you can continue in trial mode and later open Settings → Classic license, paste the key, and verify or activate.
Each license key can be active on up to three computers. Before replacing a Mac or reinstalling the system, release the license on the old machine in Settings so the slot is freed. After a successful release, that Mac no longer counts toward the limit and you can activate the same key on a new Mac. Skipping release may fill all three slots and block activation on the new device.
In Settings under Classic license, you can see license status and used versus available device slots. Use the release-on-this-Mac action when you no longer need this computer or are switching machines. After release, this Mac returns to an unlicensed state.
Classic is distributed and managed independently from the App Store app. The App Store edition uses StoreKit and subscriptions, not Classic license checkout. Classic does not include cloud AI; use the App Store edition and Orvia Mail Plus when you need cloud AI. Provider availability follows each edition’s public notes.
