Email apps are becoming workspaces, copilots, dashboards, and everything else. Every feature can make sense on its own, but together they can turn a tool we use every day into another thing we have to manage.
I built Orvia Mail around a different idea: software can be powerful without being loud.
While building Orvia, I removed many things I could have added. The message stays at the center. AI stays in the background. Information appears when it helps you make a decision, not because it can.
Orvia is not trying to reinvent email. It is trying to bring email back to what it should be: read, decide, and move on with your day.
What you can do
Read, search, write, and reply across every account in a unified inbox. Safe Reader blocks remote images and tracking pixels, and local insights surface clear facts such as verification codes. If you enable eligible AI, it can help with summaries, translation, and reply drafts; you always confirm before anything is sent.
How mail and AI data are handled
Your mailbox stays on your Mac by default, and mail connects directly to the provider you choose; local rules and search do not upload message bodies to AI. Optional cloud AI in the App Store edition requires eligible subscription entitlements, global and per-mailbox permissions, and privacy checks, and processes only the task-limited redacted text in the AI data region you confirm.
Classic includes no Orvia-managed cloud AI and lets you connect Personal AI yourself. When enabled, the needed text is sent to the third-party service you choose and is not fully offline; provider, account, region, and mailbox limits still apply. How to choose an edition
The Mac App Store edition starts free with Standard, which supports one non-Gmail mailbox; Plus adds multiple mailboxes and eligible cloud AI. Classic is a one-time-purchase Mac edition distributed from this site, includes multiple mailboxes, offers optional Personal AI, and does not include an Orvia-managed cloud AI subscription.

What is Orvia Mail?

Which mailboxes does Orvia Mail support?

Do I have to turn on Orvia Mail's AI features?
No. Sending and receiving mail and local organization do not depend on AI. Cloud AI is off by default and is only used after you enable it and meet the entitlement, region, and privacy conditions; Classic Personal AI is entirely optional.
